Raise your hand if you have that dry, itchy winter skin! As much as I stay on top of it, there are days where my skin is begging me to sit in a tub of oil and just marinade. We obviously know that can't happen so here is what I am using to keep my skin as hydrated as possible all with out that slick oily feeling.

Let's start from the top, literally. My hair is very straight and thick and finally long again. During the winter the front pieces where the layers are can get rather brittle and just stick out in all directions. I like to deep condition my hair once a week to two weeks during this time to help bring moisture back to it and help tame those crazy hairs. Design Line Olive Oil Hair Masque is the way to go for me. I have been using their entire olive oil range for years and it is not something I plan to change. I highly recommend it.

Right before I get out of the shower I have been loving taking a tiny bit of Anfora Rose Body Oil and massaging it into my skin. It has a very delicate scent to it. Not too old lady at all as some rose scented products can have. The oil sinks in right away and leaves your skin with an added boost of moisture.

Once I am out of the shower I apply a generous amount of The Body Shop Shea Body Butter. This product is very thick but melts into the skin like butter on hot toast! Say goodbye to dry patches with this one.

Now my face is probably the most sensitive part of my body. Any allergic reaction will start first on my face and then reek
havoc on the rest of my body. I have to be very careful with what products I use. As far as cleansing goes I have had luck with some extremely sensitive formulas in both bar and cream form. But in winter, oil based products are the way to go. So for the time being I have switched to Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil. This product has a light lather that helps restore the skins moisture and ph balance. The scent is a wonderful citrus aroma that I love to breath in while I wash my face in the mornings. It doesn't leave any residue when you wash it off and leaves your skin really soft.

Nothing new for my lips as I stay true to my Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment. I have to keep my lips moisturized for my overzealous use of liquid lipstick.

Finally for my hands I have been using The Body Shop Almond Hand and Nail Cream. I constantly wash my hands so I didn't want something too thick that would take a while to sink in. While this is on the lighter side it still provides the moisture that I need.
